At BrasswoodCare, we provide specialised Forensic Male and Female Support Services tailored for individuals living with a disability who are involved with, or at risk of involvement with, the justice system. Our services are trauma-informed, gender-sensitive, and designed to support participants in achieving stability, safety, and long-term positive outcomes in the community.

- Behavioural Support & Risk Management
Tailored positive behaviour support planning and strategies to manage complex behaviours and reduce risk, with a focus on individualised, therapeutic approaches. - Justice System Navigation
Assistance with court appearances, legal obligations, and understanding rights and responsibilities. We work collaboratively with legal professionals, justice liaison officers, and support networks. - Reintegration and Transition Support
Support with community reintegration after incarceration or inpatient forensic services, including life skills development, social reconnection, and establishing safe housing. - Gender-Specific Support
We recognise the different needs of male and female participants. Our services are delivered with cultural sensitivity, respect, and an understanding of gender-specific trauma and pathways. - Mental Health & Wellbeing Support
Coordination with mental health professionals, support for psychiatric care plans, medication management assistance, and psychosocial recovery. - Substance Use and Dual Diagnosis Support
Practical support for participants experiencing substance use challenges alongside mental health or disability needs, including referrals and harm minimisation strategies. - 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL)
For eligible participants, we provide high-quality accommodation with trained staff to support safety, community participation, and daily living. - Capacity Building and Skill Development
Empowering participants with skills to improve self-regulation, communication, vocational readiness, and community engagement.
